ACERNIS outpatients clinics are centres which admit foreigners staying in Poland. Regardless of whether you are staying in Kraków temporarily or permanently, our doctors are always ready to help you.
If you suddenly fall ill and need medical assistance, but you do not know where to seek help and you are terrified by Polish hospitals and public clinics, we invite you to visit ACERNIS. In order to get assistance in ACERNIS you need not have any specialist insurance or sign any permanent declarations. We always admit all patients, also those with no appointments or referrals, we welcome walk-in patients. You also don’t need to be afraid of the costs of our services. The price list is clear and transparent and the basic medical consultation costs less then EUR 20.

You don't need to be afraid of queues at ACERNIS. You may always come without registration and you will certainly be admitted on the same day. However, if you want to make an appointment for a specific time, please feel free to use our eRegistration. Thanks to our on-line registration system, you are able to make an appointment with a doctor or choose a selected treatment any time, even several hours in advance. Thanks to this, you will be admitted when it is convenient for you. Your health and time are our priority, that is why we are open 7 days a week, during hours convenient for working people.
ACERNIS clinics are not substitutes for the Basic Health Care (general practitioner), but an ideal place where you can go whenever you are not able to report to your doctor on a given day, for any reason. We are open 365 days a year for you, including weekends and bank/public holidays. Our doctors are qualified to treat the general diseases and everyday medical problems which are usually treated by a General Practitioner. Thus, you can always come to ACERNIS clinic in the following cases:
In situations requiring immediate medical assistance, such as a serious pain in the chest (possible heart attack), dyspnoea (breathlessness) or serious respiratory disorders, haemorrhage (bleeding), loss of consciousness (faint) or cerebral stroke, you should immediately contact an emergency service (call 999 or 112) or go to the nearest hospital with a Hospital Emergency Ward (Emergency Room).
However, ER visits should be reserved for true emergencies, such as life-threatening accidents. A visit to the ER without an actual emergency can be inefficient, time consuming and costly, it also detracts medical care from individuals who truly need emergency care. In ACERNIS your health and time are our priority, that is why we are open 7 days a week and we don't require prior registration. However, please remember, we are not a Hospital Emergency Ward (Emergency Room), but rather a clinic between your permanent basic health care general practitioner and the emergency service - ACERNIS clinics are places which you can always visit in the case of any urgent deterioration of your health that is not life-threatening.
